  • The aim of this module is to provide doctors with awareness and basic understanding of marketing in health care organization. It will introduce the marketing process and the tools for marketing a clinical service/organisation.

    With the tools the student will be able to do market analysis, select target markets and design a marketing mix model for the clinical service / organisation.

  • The aim of this module is to provide doctors with awareness and basic understanding of managing people in the clinical setting. It is designed for doctors to understand and list the activities related to the management of the various members of the clinical and non-clinical team in delivering care. 

  • The aim of this module is to provide doctors with awareness and basic understanding of operations in healthcare including the entire activities required to create and deliver health care services.

    Be able to list and describe the various measurement and analysis of processes in the health care industry.

    Be able to apply this knowledge and skill to devising methods to improve clinical performance.

  • Finance for Doctors  

    The aim of this module is to provide doctors with awareness and basic understanding of finance in health care organization, practice and in their personal life. It  is designed for doctors to understand financial terms, interpretation of financial data, reading, understanding and creating financial reports. This module will assist the doctor understand the principles of asset and risk management and monitoring

  • Relationship with Programme Philosophy and Aims

    The aim of this course is to provide doctors with awareness and basic understanding of the components, functions and the way management in general affects the delivery of health care.

    It will use basic tools to assess an organization and in this module the candidate will be expected to analyze his own health care organization.

    This course is designed for doctors who need to understand management science without necessarily having the knowledge or skills in the context of modern healthcare delivery systems.
